Brighouse

In and around Brighouse

Brighouse is a lovely friendly town, we have a variety of shops and services but is probably better known for the Brighouse & Rastrick Band. We moved here about 20 years ago and we fell in love with the place. There are many places to eat including fish & chips, coffee shops, Italian, Indian, Chinese & Greek restaurants. We also have many pubs that do lunches and bar snacks.

We have a newly renovated bus station right in the town centre, a well used railway station which has regular trains from Halifax, Leeds, Bradford & Manchester ( which is just down the road from us). Brighouse has a lovely little out door market which operates on Saturdays and Wednesdays, and at the side of the market is the canal where you can watch the barges or just feed the ducks.
